Integrative psychiatry combines evidence-based psychiatric care with lifestyle and functional approaches. It looks beyond symptoms to factors like sleep, nutrition, hormones, and inflammation, and may include lab testing when appropriate.

Do you prescribe medications?
Yes, when appropriate. Medications may include both non-controlled and controlled options, such as stimulants, based on your needs, history, and treatment goals. Care is collaborative, with non-stimulant and integrative options always part of the discussion.

How does telehealth work in your practice?
The majority of care is provided via telehealth allowing you to easily access quality psychiatric care. Limited in-person appointments are available at my office located at Venture X Arlington - Courthouse Metro - 2300 Wilson Blvd Suite. 700 - Arlington, VA 22201

Do you accept insurance?
I don’t bill insurance directly or participate in insurance networks. I provide a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement, and HSA cards are accepted for payment.

How do payments and cancellations work?
Appointments are paid at the time of booking. You’ll receive text reminders before your visit. Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice are fully refunded. Late cancellations or no-shows are refunded minus a $50 fee.New patient appointments are $350.
Follow-up appointments are $150.

What is your medication refill policy?
Refills are provided at no charge when you are up to date with recommended follow-up appointments or when delays are on our end. If follow-up visits are overdue, refill requests may require an appointment or a $35 refill management fee. This helps ensure medications are prescribed safely and thoughtfully.

To protect your privacy, clinical communication will only occur through a secure, HIPAA-compliant patient portal. You’ll receive an email notification when a new message is available in your portal.

What if I need urgent or crisis support?
Appointment wait times are usually short, and the patient panel is kept intentionally small to support timely access to care. This practice does not provide emergency or crisis services. If you are experiencing a psychiatric emergency, please go to your local emergency department or call emergency services.
